Insatvik CarVision Pro

I wanted a panel that would grant my 2018 Prius Prime Advanced Wireless CarPlay without the expense of $2800 for a refurbished head unit on eBay. This does almost everything I want. I hooked up the rear camera as Prius is known for the tiny window in back for rear view mirror and this cam is awesome for seeing out the back side of the car. I am sure the tinted windows cause it problems in the dark and when cars are further away, but it sure does allow me to watch the entire 140 degrees behind the car, lanes on either side of me, and much easier to pass larger vehicles for sure, the way I have the unit mounted in the front dash doesn’t allow the front camera to see much through the bracket, but I wanted the windshield mount and not the dash sticky pad too. I was able to connect this unit to the Bluetooth of the car, and it’s so very nice sounding, issue of that being, I still can’t use the Siri functions well, and that’s more of a CarPlay issue than the units fault. Siri is low volume when reading texts to me, and i have to practically crank up the car volume to hear them. As you can see in this dash setup though, I have a phone mount to the left of the driver so I can view texts if needed. I even brag to all my Facebook Prius Prime friends about this option, and posting the ad link of this product whenever someone asks me about “what I did”. I haven’t tried bigger sd cards yet. I already some, just not worried about what the panel is recording yet. Just enjoying how well I can see while driving my car down the road.

I have been looking for a good CarPlay and dash cam until for my car. This unit does everything I need and particularly love the large screen. I am going to buy another one for the other car.

This CarPlay screen was truly plug and play. It appears to be the same device as the Insatvik Carplay product they've been advertising on my instagram feed, but this one includes the back-up camera. I was worried about how it might interact with the clunky stereo in my 2014 Tundra, but the set-up instructions addressed that -- routing the iPhone audio directly to the vehicle, but also enabling controlling selection from the device screen. I'd never found a great way to mount my phone for navigation, and the phone screen is pretty small. This thing totally solved both of those issues. My vehicle has a flat tray that worked perfectly to mount the screen using the adhesive patch it came with. The screen is so wide that you can show the map, the music, and incoming messages all at once. The dash cam aim is adjustable, so the screen be angled toward the driver but still have the straight ahead view on the dash cam. I already have a back-up camera, so I'm going to see if I can mount this camera up front to help with parking.

I play mostly Spotify and connects seamlessly through to my jeeps speakers. Solid build and looks great. Have received many compliments. Would recommend to friends.

After using the Insatvik Carvision Pro for months, I absolutely love it! It was super easy to set up and adjust to fit perfectly in my car. The big, clear screen makes using maps, music apps, and even the touch controls so much more enjoyable. The connection is flawless—no lag, no disconnects—and it works perfectly with both Apple and Android devices. The buildin HD dash cam is another standout feature that convinced me to buy it. The video quality is fantastic, capturing everything in amazing detail. A nice bonus is the AirPlay support, which lets me play videos when I’m parked and waiting, which is not exist in any other carplays! This has been the best upgrade I’ve made to my car. Highly recommend it!

I feel so cool using the CarVision in my 2009 Kia! I use this for Android auto and it works well! Typing in maps on the device is not slow and it's nice to have a big screen for maps! It's nice to use Spotify and other supported apps!

Easy Set up! Instructions are helpful and easy to follow! I love that my car now has a reverse camera ! I have never had that before. The front camera is great too for if I were to get into an accident.

Easy connection via bluetooth! I can also still connect phone to car speakers as well, as there is an option to use buletooth connected speakers. When I turn my car on it all connects together without me doing anything.

I purchased this Apple CarPlay screen for my 2007 GMC Savana. My Savana did not have Bluetooth, a backup camera, or an audio jack. I was thrilled when I found this device! It took my husband about 3 hours to wire it through our van because it is so long, but that was the hardest part of the entire thing. Setup is very easy and the number of ways you can listen to the Apple CarPlay is fantastic! I like setting it up using an FM radio station. However the built in speaker on the actual device is also great! The backup camera is very clear and in fact is a much better picture than on some of our other vehicles with built in cameras. I love the texting, call, maps, audible, and you tube apps the best. Spotify also works well though. I have not used the dashcam yet, but I’m sure it works just fine. The fact that the plugin also has a slot to plug in device chargers so it doesn’t use the entire plug is also a great add on! I highly recommend this product!

Easy to install in my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. Took about 5 minutes. The size works perfect for my application. I'm pairing with a android phone and didn't having any problems.
Well worth the money.

Awesome device for adding Android Auto/Apple Carplay functionality to your older cars.

I'm using the Insatvik carplay pro in my 2014 Audi that did not have factory Android Auto/Apple Carplay. The screen is very bright with nice resolution for high res output. The touchscreen is very responsive and lacks the lag/delay that I found in the cheaper 7" units that are readily available on Amazon.

The screen resolution is also worlds better than the 7" units with a much more crisp and bright display, easier to see/read in all lighting conditions.

It was very easy to link my Android and iPhone to the display and it will seamlessly switch between the two, depending on which phone I connect at the time.

Audio output via the Aux cord is high quality with no noticeable reduction in sound quality. This is very much worth spending the extra money over the cheaper units for a much more user-friendly and viewable display.
